What is the Golden Egg Amazing Race?

Modeled at the CBS hit show, The Amazing Race; Scouts and their parents will venture around the campgrounds to solve Scout themed Riddles and Puzzles. Finishing a station reveals a clue to the next location. The 1st place “Scout / Parent Team” will receive a Grand Prize from Pack 900.

When is the Event?

Date – May 1st and May 2nd.

Where is the Event?

Location – Kelsey Short Campground (Smithville, MO). Area #4.

How Much is the Event?

Price – TBD. Pack 900 Leadership is currently working to plan and coordinate this event.

What does my Scout Wear to the Event?

Uniform – Each Scout will arrive at the Campout in Class A. Once camp has been setup, Scouts will get an opportunity to dress down to Class B. Class B will be the official uniform for the remainder of the camp.

Who can Attend?

This event is for Registered Cub Scouts in Pack 900, and one or both parents.

Do I have to Camp overnight to participate?

No, the event will take place during the day on May 2nd, so families are free to come Saturday morning, and leave after the event. That said, families are encouraged to camp Friday night, May 1st, if able to, but by no means is it a requirement.
